HIST 117 SC - Capitalism in the Renaissance
This course will examine Renaissance society through the lens of economic life. We will study a variety of texts from the period, from account books to short stories. We will consider not only how the Renaissance economy functioned, but also how to distinguish Renaissance capitalism from modern economic systems. Cross listing in Economics.
