BIOL 181 KS - Molecular Basis of Neurological Disorders Neurological Disorders is an introduction to the biology of nervous system disorders with a strong emphasis on the CNS molecular pathology and mechanisms of the disorder. General topics include traumatic brain injury, memory disorders, movement disorders and developmental disorders. Classes will be a combination of lectures and discussions of original research articles. An emphasis is placed on developing skills related to independent exploration of the subject.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL043L KS /BIOL044L KS and CHEM014L KS /CHEM015L KS ; or both semesters of the AISS course ( AISS001BLKS , AISS002ALKS , AISS002BLKS ); or BIOL040L KS /CHEM040L KS and CHEM015L KS ; or BIOL043L KS and BIOL143 KS ; or permission of instructor.
