                | ANTH 097G SC - Political Anthropology  This courses examines politics and power from an anthropological perspective. It explores the impact of the recognition of the importance of colonialism and capitalism on political anthropology; new ways of understanding “formal” and everyday forms of power, domination and resistance; and globalization in relation to identity, the state and political action.
