2.12 Office of Communications and Marketing

Marketing and Communications (MarComm) is responsible for enhancing Scripps College’s national reputation by promoting the College’s interdisciplinary curriculum, faculty research and scholarship, top-tier students, and accomplished alumnae.
MarComm is responsible for:
- Strategic communications: brand management and execution, marketing campaigns, and communications plans to promote the College to prospective students and increase engagement among those who support the College;
- Scripps magazine, the College’s twice-annual periodical;
- The College’s websites and social media channels; and
- Developing relationships with national, regional, and local media to promote the College
MarComm works closely with several departments to provide branded and strategic communications. The office also provides the tools and resources necessary for campus departments and individuals to maintain their webpages, promote their events, and engage with the Scripps community.
