DANC 168 SC - Dance Production
This course provides experience and theoretical inquiry into the staging of dance including concert organization, audience development, publicity, budgeting, stage management, lighting, sound, and costuming. Students will assist in producing Scripps dance events as well as study dance productions and producing entities in the Los Angeles area. Includes investigation of economic, social, and political issues that impact dance production. Full course. Only full-credit courses which include history and theory may be used to fulfill the fine arts requirement of Scripps.
