THEA 141 PO - Dramaturgy

An exploration of the various roles of the dramaturg with emphasis on the dramaturg’s obligations to text, production and audience. Inquiry into the dynamics of the dramaturg’s relationship to playwrights, designers, performers and directors. Course work will include practical application of research tools and application of dramatic theory. Offered fall.
