PSYC 156 SC - Native American Psychology This course examines the psychological research conducted with indigenous peoples of North America. Course topics include identity, mental health, and family issues. These topics and others will be discussed within the context of the particular historical conditions that have given rise to the behavioral patterns under discussion (e.g., genocide, displacement, cultural loss).
