PSYC 157 SC - Psychology of the Black Woman in America This course explores black women’s lives by examining various psychological phenomena from a black feminist perspective. Emphasis will be placed on the multiplicity of experience and how it is shaped by oppression and struggle. Discussion topics will include identity; mental health; sexuality; academic achievement and work.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 052 . Course Credit: 1.0
