RLST 094 SC - Feminist Histories of Early Christianity Since the 1960s, feminist critical theory has challenged dominant narratives of Western history. This course explores feminist studies of early Christianity (ca. 100-700) as one historical arena that continues to be transformed by new theoretical modes: from recovery/”Herstory” to queer theory, feminist histories illuminate our ancient pasts and our modern desires.
