POLI 121 SC - Ending Mass Incarceration This course engages in a grounded examination of how communities of color engage in political struggle over the ideologies and practices of mass incarceration in the United States. The focus is on understanding the relationship between race, social welfare, and the prison-industrial complex through text and direct engagement with individuals and organizations involved in social justice work that confronts mass incarceration.
