MS 138 SC - Media and the Environment This course introduces students to the field of the environmental humanities through the tools of ecocriticism, media studies, and cultural studies. In particular, it is interested in exploring the many relationships between media and the environment, including not only the representations of the natural world in media such as film, photography, and digital media but also the material entanglements of media technologies with surrounding built and natural environments.
