CHST 077 CH - Chicana-Latina, Gender, and Popular Culture In the digital media age, popular culture saturates many aspects of everyday life. This course is a critical examination of the ways popular culture generates and shapes images of Chicanas and Latinas and how gender, race/ethnicity, class, and sexuality all intersect to shape Chicana-Latina popular understandings in the U.S and beyond.
