ANTH 153 PZ - History of Anthropological Theory This course will provide a survey of the history of anthropological theory and method through a combination of theoretical writings and ethnographic monographs. It will examine how different historical moments and theories of knowledge have informed anthropological objectives and projects. Close attention will be paid to the changing content, form and sites addressed throughout the history of the discipline. Offered annually.
