CORE 002 SC - Sleep: Nature, Nurture, Mystery This course looks at sleep through literature, science, history, anthropology. We will look at histories of our present sleep practices and attitudes toward sleep and see how these practices and attitudes are rooted in our values as a society and how even a behavior as innate and universal as sleep is culturally inflected.
