MUS 101 SC - Music Theory I The study of tonal harmony and counterpoint primarily based on 18thcentury principles. Analyses of examples from literature and written exercises leading to the composition of short works based on models are combined with basic musicianship skills (ear training, sight-singing, and keyboard harmony). This course will satisfy the fine arts requirement.
