PHYS 030L KS - General Physics for the Life Sciences I The first semester of a yearlong, calculus-based introductory course sequence with lab (PHYS 030L-031L) introducing forces, torques, energy, momentum, angular momentum, simple harmonic motion, fluids, and thermodynamics/statistical mechanics. This course is geared for life science majors and others interested in the health professions. Potential physics, engineering, and chemistry majors should normally take Physics 33L-34L.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Calculus I (e.g. MATH030 SC ), or prior high-school calculus experience with concurrent enrollment in Calculus. Physics 030L is a prerequisite for PHYS 031L. Course Credit: 1.0 Offered: Every fall
