ANTH 143 SC - Livable World This seminar explores the concept of livability in the face of contemporary global challenges, including environmental degradation, natural disasters, wars, inequality, and aging populations. Rather than framing these issues solely as components of planetary crises or sustainability debates, the course adopts anthropological perspectives to examine how individuals and communities experience, navigate, and respond to these conditions while questioning and reimagining what a livable wo rld is.
