CHEM 014L KS - Basic Principles of Chemistry I The first semester of a year-long study of the structure of matter and the principles of chemical reactions. Topics covered include stoichiometry, periodicity, atomic and molecular structure, bonding theory, enthalpy, and phases of matter.
Prerequisite(s): completion of Precalculus (MATH023, MATH025, or equivalent) or placement into Calculus I (MATH030) or higher Course Credit: 1.0 Offered: Every fall
