FGSS 184 SC - Junior Seminar in Feminist Theory

The seminar explores a range of feminist theories. Topics include the purpose of theory; the variety of theoretical perspectives; feminist epistemology; the intersection of race, class, and gender in theorizing; global feminisms; theory and activism; theoretical issues of gender and sexualities; the sexual division of labor; and other topics. Historical and contemporary readings.

Prerequisite(s): FGSS 026 / GWS 026 or permission of instructor.
