PHYS 035 KS - Modern Physics An introductory modern physics course designed as a continuation of PHYS 033L , PHYS 034L . Topics include thermodynamics, relativity, atomic physics, elementary quantum mechanics, chemical bonding, solid state physics, band theory, and appropriate applications.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 034L , or both semesters of the AISS course (AISS 001AL , AISS 001BL , AISS 002AL , AISS 002BL ), and MATH 032 . Mathematics may be taken concurrently. Instructor: S. Gould Course Credit: 1.0 Offered: Every fall
