A self-designed interdisciplinary Asian American studies minor consists of six upper-division courses chosen from the IDAAS curriculum. These courses must be outside of and in addition to A self-designed interdisciplinary Asian American studies major consists of eight upper-division courses (at least one of which is a seminar) chosen from the IDAAS curriculum plus a senior thesis. Appropriate courses in ethnic studies and Asian studies are recommended to provide further perspective.
