Gender and Women’s Studies Minor

Requirements for the Minor

Students minoring in Gender and Women’s Studies are required to complete a total of seven courses:

• GWS 026 PO - Introduction to Gender and Women’s Studies
• Five Gender and Women’s Studies courses clustered to represent a coherent focus to be selected in consultation with the student’s adviser.
• GWS 184 SC - Junior Seminar in Feminist Theory or comparable feminist theory course approved in consultation with the department chair of Gender and Women’s Studies.
