Requirements for the Minor
A minor in German Studies requires a minimum of six courses above GERM033 (Intermediate German). These six courses must include:

- GERM 044, or, with approval of a German advisor, an equivalent upper-division class
- Five elective courses from among the German Program offerings (one of these may be taught in English).
All students of German are strongly encouraged to complement their Claremont curriculum with a semester or year stay in a German-speaking country. All course work completed during this time abroad satisfies the requirements for the major or minor in German Studies.
