Mathematics Minor

Requirements for the Minor

A minor in Mathematics requires a minimum of six courses in Mathematics beyond MATH030 SC Calculus I . The minor will include:

• Demonstrated proficiency in calculus equivalent to MATH031 SC Calculus II ;
• MATH060 SC Linear Algebra ; and
• A minimum of three upper division courses selected in careful consultation with minor adviser, for a total of at least six courses. Upper division courses are generally numbered above 100 or otherwise approved by the Mathematics Department.
