• Important information about Computer Science courses at Harvey Mudd and Claremont McKenna Colleges:
  Additional Computer Science courses may be available at Harvey Mudd College and Claremont McKenna College, subject to enrollment limits. Any CSCI course numbered 070 or higher may be used as an elective for the Scripps Computer Science minor upon approval of the minor advisor. Seats in such courses are not guaranteed and should not be expected. Students should be aware of limited availability in prerequisite courses, as well. While Scripps students may enroll in HMC and CMC computer science courses on a space available basis, they are not guaranteed any priority. 

Study Abroad Courses

A variety of study abroad programs in Hungary offers foundational and advanced courses in Computer Science, making it a suitable complement to this minor. Students choose 4-5 courses among 14 offered in many subjects, including algorithms and data structures, computer graphics, data science, graph theory, applied cryptography, comptuational biology, and deep learning. All courses are taught in English. Students interested in studying abroad should discuss this with their Scripps Computer Science minor advisor and consult SAGE staff about program application materials and deadlines.
