Requirements for the Minor (Pitzer and Scripps College)
- One introductory Environmental Analysis course: EA 010, EA 020, or EA 86.
- Two introductory science courses:
- EA30L KS Science & the Environment
- Any one of BIOL 44L KS, CHEM 14L KS, or EA 55L KS (or equivalent)
- Four courses from among the approved Environmental Science upper-division elective courses in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Geology, or other upper division natural science electives, selected in consultation with the Environmental Science Minor Advisor. Note: upper division science electives may have prerequisites in addition to the introductory courses listed above.
- A relevant natural science research experience or environmental internship that matches the concentration of courses in the Minor.
Note: Students may not complete a minor in Environmental Science alongside a major in Organismal Biology or Geology. A minor in Environmental Science should generally not be completed alongside a Biology major. Please consult with an Environmental Science advisor for more details. |
