SOC 030 CH - Chicanos/as in Contemporary Society

Sociological analysis of the theoretical and methodological approaches used to study the Chicano/a and Latina/o communities. Examines socioeconomic conditions, education, cultural change, the family, gender relations, and political experiences. Includes a field internship option.
