ENGL 158 SC - Twentieth-Century British Period Courses: Contemporary Irish Culture

Ireland underwent enormous social change and conflict (including a prolonged war) between 1969 and 2009. This course will explore Irish cultural responses to the events of this period through a study of a number of major plays, novels, poems, short stories, and films.
