We will introduce the theory of the Lebesgue integral, beginning with basic set theory and topology, covering Lebesgue measure and measurable functions, and finishing with the classical inequalities and Banach spaces used in an analyst’s daily life.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 060 . Strongly recommended: a proof-based course (MATH 101 , MATH 131 , etc.). Instructor: W. Ou Course Credit: 1.0
Please refer to the course schedule on the Scripps Portal for current course offerings and details.
