PHIL 125 SC - Classical Chinese Philosophy This course examines representative schools of Chinese philosophical thought from the classical period: Confucianism, proto-Daoism, and their critics. We will read selections from both primary texts and contemporary scholarship, and discuss early Chinese conceptions of cosmology, human nature, moral cultivation, and epistemology.
