PHIL 146 SC - History of Analytic Philosophy The course introduces students to early 20th-century Analytic philosophy, including works by Anscombe, Ayer, Austin, Carnap, Frege, Moore, Quine, Russell, and Wittgenstein. We will examine different methods of analysis and how these were employed to address philosophical problems regarding knowledge, reality, and language.
