POLI 100 SC - Introduction to International Relations This course provides a broad survey of issues in and approaches to the study of relations between states. We will examine enduring topics, such as diplomacy and the balance of power, as well as more recent phenomena, including the rise of international organizations and humanitarian international law to prominence since the mid-20th century. Open to first-year students.
