ENGL 166 SC - American Modernism This seminar will be an in-depth exploration of American literary modernism. We will consider how modernist writers experimented with new literary forms in an attempt to capture the experience of living in a rapidly changing world. Writers studied will include Eliot, Faulkner, Hughes, Stein, Fitzgerald, Hurston, and Barnes.
