PHIL 113 SC - Early Modern Philosophy: The Rationalists (CGU) The basic aim in this course is to study the ideas, texts, and arguments of the “Rationalists” (Descartes, Spinoza, Malebranche and Leibniz) of the seventeenth century. Arguments concerning the nature of ideas, bodies, minds, laws and the proper method of philosophical and scientific enquiry will be examined.
