NEUR 149 KS - Neuroscience 2: Systems This course will examine the structure, function, and organization of nervous systems. Topics will include signal transduction, electrophysiology, the role of trophic factors, development of the nervous system, and neural networks. Consideration will also be given to neuropathologic conditions such as Parkinson’s’ and Alzheimer’s diseases. Enrollment limited to 24. Formerly BIOL149 KS.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 043L and BIOL 044L ; or BIOL042L KS and BIOL044L KS ; CHEM 014L and CHEM 015L ; or CHEM 029L ; or CHEM042L KS
