NEUR 181 KS - Molecular Basis of Neurological Disorders


Neurological Disorders is an introduction to the biology of nervous system disorders with a strong emphasis on the CNS molecular pathology and mechanisms of the disorder. General topics include traumatic brain injury, memory disorders, movement disorders and developmental disorders. Classes will be a combination of lectures and discussions of original research articles. An emphasis is placed on developing skills related to independent exploration of the subject. Formerly BIOL181 KS.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 043L  and BIOL 044L ; or BIOL042L KS  and BIOL044L KS ; CHEM 014L  and CHEM 015L ; or CHEM 029L ; or CHEM042L KS , or permission of the instructor.
