BIOL 187M KS - Special Topics in Biology: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles This is an upper division course that will take a practical approach to the use of UAV’s (“drones”) in organismal biology and environmental science. The course will consist of lectures, hands-on software and hardware tutorials, and field exercises in using drones to collect precision visible and hyperspectral imagery, and analyzing the data to address biological and environmental questions.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL044L KS Course Credit: 1.0 Offered: Every other year
